This is the backstory for a character I played in a homebrew D&D campaign during grad school. Her themes of loss, destruction, and rebirth of the self were heavily influenced by changes in my life that I was struggling with at the time. Despite the dark circumstances that made her, she is called to serve a hopeful purpose in stark defiance of her secret past.​ Read about Euna the healer below.
